The longest-lasting glass installations start with the right decisions: a frame sized for the opening and wind load, glass chosen for the climate and orientation, entrances matched to their traffic, and a sill and perimeter detailed to keep water out. We make those decisions with the owner, tenant or architect before anything is ordered.
Specified on paper, set by hand
A storefront can be specified perfectly and still fail if the final set is rushed. This short film follows the last inch of a commercial glass installation: hydraulic glazing equipment, vacuum lifting and the glaziers who handle final alignment.
Codes, approvals and permits
Energy codes, safety glazing rules, accessibility standards, hurricane product approvals, Title 24, local building codes and historic district review all affect what can be installed. We confirm what applies to the address, prepare submittals and schedule inspections.
On the construction schedule
Most of our installation work is for general contractors on new construction and tenant improvements. We release long-lead glass and hardware early, field measure as soon as conditions allow and install to the schedule so glass is not the item holding up turnover.
Repair and emergency service
When glass breaks or fails, the emergency line is answered around the clock. Openings are made safe and secure the same day, and permanent glass is installed as soon as it is fabricated, often as an upgrade such as laminated or low-E glass.

How long does a new storefront take?
Fabrication and glass lead times usually run a few weeks; installation of a typical storefront takes a few days on site.
Do you handle permits and product approvals?
Yes. We confirm requirements for the address and prepare the submittal.
